Dear Wonderful A+ Acacia Families,
As the summer days begin to wind down, it is with immense excitement that I extend a warm welcome back to all our returning students and families, and a special greeting to those joining the Acacia Elementary community for the first time! I hope you've all had a wonderful summer filled with relaxation, fun, and cherished moments.
Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working diligently to prepare our classrooms and campus, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching learning environment for every student.
At Acacia, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for our students' success. Your involvement and support are invaluable, and we encourage you to be an active part of our school community. There will be many opportunities throughout the year to get involved, whether through volunteering, attending school events, or simply staying connected with your child's teacher.
We are looking forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and joy. Our focus remains on fostering a love of learning, promoting critical thinking, and nurturing the social and emotional well-being of every Acacia student. We are committed to providing a supportive and challenging environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.
Here is what to expect this week!
Wednesday, July 9, 2025: Meet the Teacher Video
Meet the Teacher presentations will be emailed at the end of the day. They will be sent to the email on file in PowerSchool. We encourage you to watch the video before our Meet the Teacher Night.
Thursday, July 10, 2025: Meet the Teacher Night. 5:00 pm-6:30 pm
We hope you can join us at our Meet the Teacher Night. This will provide you and your student a chance to meet their teacher, drop off supplies, see their classroom, and our campus. We will also have our wonderful PTSA, Aramark Food Services, Vail Transportation Department, Community Programs, and Girl Scouts attending as well.
Please note our front office will be closed on Wednesday, July 9, due to staff training.
